All you need to know
Does the chef bring equipment?
My preference is to bring my personal equipment as it provides me a sense of assurance that all necessary items are present. However, I will require the utilisation of certain appliances including your oven, hob, sink, and kettle. Occasionally, I may need to use a small portion of your fridge/freezer, but I will communicate any such requirements in advance.
What time will you arrive?
Typically, Matthew will arrive 2 hours prior to serving time to ensure food can be prepared and cooked on time.
Will you provide a waiter?
Yes a waiter or waiters will be provided.
Dietary requirements?
If you have any dietary requirements, please specify on the booking form. This way, your menu can be adapted where possible or an alternate option can be provided.
Insurance?
We provide insurance for our customers and to bring peace of mind. You’re covered for up to £5m through our public liability insurance.

What happens if I change/cancel my booking?
A deposit will be charged upon booking, We have a 72 hour cancellation/change policy for a full refund. There is pride taken in my cooking and food is prepared well in advance. Therefore I ask for any changes or cancellations to take place before the 3-day period.
Are the menus set?
I offer a seasonal set menu which can also be tailored to your needs. Please contact me for more details.
Do we all have to select the same dish?
Yes, it is required that all guests partake in the same menu consisting of the same dishes. Although restaurants may have the resources to prepare distinct starters, mains, and desserts for individual guests, it would be impractical to replicate such service in a home kitchen with limited cooking capacity. Moreover, part of the dining experience includes savoring the same food, and partaking in the same culinary journey. Nevertheless, most dishes can be adjusted to cater to dietary restrictions. Therefore, if a meat-based starter is chosen, a vegetarian alternative of the same dish will be provided so that all guests can relish a comparable version of the concept with minimal deviation in ingredients.
Are drinks included?
We offer a variety of drinks packages that can be added to the booking upon request.
Will you need to use my crockery & cutlery?
To enhance the presentation of my dishes, I bring my own plates and bowls for serving. However, I don’t provide cutlery so they will be required, however don’t worry you are not expected to have enough cutlery for a 7 course tasting menu. We also ensure all the items we may use are washed in between courses.
Do you offer your services in my area?
My coverage area includes all of the UK. If your location is within a 1-hour drive from B73, there will be no travel fee. However, for locations that require more than 1 hour of travel, a small mileage fee will be charged. If the round trip takes more than 4 hours, there will be an additional fee for nearby accommodation. Please be assured that I will make every effort to find the most suitable and cost-effective accommodation for your needs.
